so you got divorced and to celebrate the event you have a trash the dress party, that includes spilling wine, dirt, whatever it takes to trash the wedding gown.

Lol fowl. Me too. My bouquet was more of an off white and different flowers but lots of roses. It weighed a ton lol.

I wanted red roses...nothing else would do, lol. I was far more conservative back then, than I am now. I think that I could have had a lot of fun with it. Like Chris said above, maybe changing up gown colors or something. Who knows. It was beautiful, and very elegant, though. :)

My bridesmaids wore all red. The guys wore black tuxes with red bow ties and cumberbunds. The girls wore red rose headpieces (think 16 candles where I got the idea). My dress was all white and my dh wore a black tux with white.

My first wedding was black and white with red accents ... :)

there's a certain elegance about a black dress i absolutely love, but i can't bring myself to liking the color in a wedding, either.

I worked on a wedding where the bride wore red and the bridesmaids wore white.

I wanted red. The only way that I could figure out how to have red, and not have it be trashy was to go w/ black and white w/ red accent. We went formal (so it wouldn't be too funeralish) and my bridesmaids picked their own dresses.

I have to admit I do not like the black and white weddings. Black is still for funerals in my mind. Or business suits, or cocktail parties.
