Just like the truckers present.</p>

And since when do truckers get such a bad rap? And since when do all truckers curse in daily conversations? I've know more than a a handful of truckers in my life, and none of them curse more than the average person. In fact one of them, a man I went to HS with, probably has said a handful of cursewords in his entire 44 years.  He's a very gentle soul.

You claim to be not making a big deal out of cursing but you keep talking like curse words should be a big deal.  So is it a big deal or not?

Nah, I don't judge all professors by how you write here.  I'm more easy going than that.

My sons are not perfect, but they have a modicum of class.  And so far, the young ladies that they have brought home also have a modicum of class.  I would be very surprised if my kids brought home a young lady who did not speak appropriately in social situations.  Certainly if one of them were attracted to a young lady with no education and no social graces but a heart of gold or something we would deal with it.   I was not brought up in a home where proper grammar was a priority, and I had some bad speech habits that I had to work to overcome.  I am sure any young lady who didn't know about when cursing was and was not appropriate who was dating my kid would have the same desire I did to learn correct behavior.  If she didn't, it would not be the bad speech habits I would have a problem with, it would be the attitude.

No one said you did.  Where did that come from, left field?

No, she lied and said she didn't curse.  Except when she did.  Which isn't often, which is a lot better than Some People.

Still taking the cowardly passive agressive approach I see.  But yes, she did, here is a quote for you where Molly clearly says she can curse but doesn't find the need.  Stand for something or you will fall for anything.

1. I  am an adult soI CAN curse if I want but don't find the need.

2. This is a child.

3. Usually people curse because they are not smart enough to use real words.

I've known (and I use that term loosely) a handful of truly mean, unlikable, despicable people in my lifetime.  And you know what? They didn't curse regularly. And some of the kindest, smartest, best people I've ever known could curse  up a storm at times.

It's not the words used that usually concerns me ... it's the message.  Hate, bigotry, intolerance, malice, cruelty and the like can all be achieved without the use of single curse word.
