I think it is curious behavior for someone who "claims" to be upset about your generous gesture for a posters cause.

. Our church service was pretty cool today.  We turn our church into an overnight homeless shelter during the months of January-March.  Today two of our homeless guests who have been adficted to drugs and alcohol for years but who have been clean for 90 days got up and dedicated their lives to Christ.  It is really nice when we can keep people from freezing and being hungry; even nicer when the effort bears spiritual fruit.

I have a friend that works for the county justice center, That place typically turns away the homeless but she has said when she works night shifts and sees the same people when she gets there as when she gets off she often opens her house up for food and shelter, esp given the bitter winter we've had. I really don't know what religion she is or if she is just a compassionate woman in general. Our church does what yours does, It also helps the pregnancy center across the street and my kids are collecting coins for it now actually.

. Oh it's no big deal.  Jesus healed ten lepers, and only one showed any gratitude.  It's how some people act; always has been, always will be.

So instead you decide to make fun of a kid instead, that is the type of behavior from a person who would not help.
