The scary part is your constant interest in my child.

It is not interest in the child but the parenting.

.i think that it is odd that you think that someone with a different tolerance for profanity is somehow doing it wrong.  This is a kid with a mouth like a sailor who is nonetheless doing extraordinarily well in school, not getting in trouble, is extraordinarily creative, etc.  would I tolerate my kid posting foul language?  No; if I found it, I would ask him to take it down.  The result would probably be him continuing to post, but with stricter privacy controls.  Sometimes you have to let these older teens have some freedom to mess up, or you lose them entirely.  And which of us can say our own kid's posts/online behavior is always mature?

"We have to resort to German for that now, which is kind of a problem because neither of us speak German very well so half the time we don't even understand each other."

LOL, we have these sorts of problems, except the only "secret" language we have left is French, but like you and German, neither one us speaks French well enough to have much of a conversation. I have told dd that she has GOT to get her Danish up to speed, because sometimes it would be so useful to share a rare language with her in social situations.

Maybe your ethics and morals are different than mine Bord. There are things that I will not tolerate when raising my children. What they do at younger ages IS a reflection on your parenting. One thing here and there, yes, they need to learn. A lifestyle? That is the parents allowing it. Probably because they live their lives the exact same way.

That's what you tell yourself so that you don't violate TOS. It also makes it feel less scurfy on your part, surely.

.  Oh, I'm dead sure that my ethics and morals differ from yours.  No doubt about it whatsoever.

"A lifestyle?" -------- What do you mean by "lifestyle"? Could you give an example?
