ITA with you if everytime they gave you the money they insisted on only one thing or another. There are specific times though when someone gives you money for a certain reason. I don't have to get mostly clothes for the kids for Christmas but I know that is what my mom would buy and they always need clothes. There have been times though that we were given money to do things for our home and that money was specifically given just for that.

Well, yeah. Some of us are actually active in our churches and not every denomination leaves everything up to the clergy to run. IN the Methodist church, the only laypeople who may not really know where the money goes and what it's used for are those who CHOOSE to stand aside and let other people take care of things. And those folks have only themselves to blame.

Because it is true. I am never just handed a check or cash for no reason. Why would I be? We are responsible to pay all our bills, save and buy the everyday

I'm unaware of any legislation that dictates the referenced paragraph must be followed to the letter and my office publishes all current and pending legislation. I think it's perfectly acceptable for people to define for themselves the contents of a Christmas stocking. For instance, my ex and his wife always have full stockings for everyone, whereas I've never bothered filling stockings and half the time I don't even hang them.

I've yet to have a visit from the Christmas Stocking Police or Child Welfare Services.

Not really understanding? My dad was an usher for many years. I am involved in my church and see how much money they make in the bulletins.

Better get yourself a membership to Costco or BJs then. The Venus razors are kinda pricey, but that's nothing compared to the cost of the razor blades for those babies. Buying them in packs of 24 or 36 from Costco is about as cheap as I've found them.
