I know how much American girl dolls cost. I have several. The years I got them for Christmas, they were my main present. I got a few other small things, but that's it.

This is not Sunday School. It is not done in church but at a volunteers home once a week from Oct-April.

Ok, I never said that and I think we are just NOT going to agree on this. Choosing someone outside of your family first to help and having nothing for yourself is not, in my opinion, what God wants us all to do. He wants us to help outside of our family, but only, AFTER we are able to take care of our own.

Yes. She's not 2 yet. As she gets older, I'm sure that we will spend more for Christmas presents. However, when she asks for a $100+ present (which I'm sure she will at some point), that will probably be pretty much the only thing she gets that year.
