I'm so not surprised that your kids know exactly how much everything costs. They are your kids.

What are you even talking about? Why are you here? And who did you have to pay off in order to not get banned after your last "performance"?

Not sure why she did that as I really don't know her financial situation but if she was given to others like she says she does, I wouldn't see why that amount would not have helped to keep the larger home.

How old are your kids? I hate to tell you that most kids know how much things cost these days. It is just not my kids, I have heard it many times from all different children. I personally think kids should not worry about the cost of things but this is a different generation than ours.

listen I want my daughter REALLLY know what the cost of things are -- to reallly get what she's asking for when she spouts off the "and this and this and this and this litany' at Christmas. We've had the talk about how thinks that are 49.99 are "fifty bucks' she asked for one toy that was $65 and I said "well I can get you that or I can pay for a month of ballet and jazz classes, which will it be" All summer she was on a summer reading rewards program of my devising where by every chapter book she finished earned her a dollar, then when we'd go to beach or arcade or fair or park she had to take that money for what ever games she wanted or souveniers -- It was music to my ears one night when I had taken her to a professional theater production fo High School Musical and they were selling tshirts and I heard her say "$20 for a tshirt!! I think I'll hang on to my money tonight"

Sometimes knowing what things cost can be a good teaching too.

"If gay Americans are not allowed to get married and have all the benefits that American citizens are entitled to by the Bill of Rights, they should get one hell of a tax break. That is my opinion,"

- Jeane "Dear Abby" Phillips, in an interview with Lisa Leff.

Yes. We. Did.
