That's okay, I don't drink coffee and most of the stuff they serve in there is not healthy or at least not anything I have an interest in buying. I have been in Starbucks in the past - had a job interview there once actually and have passed by the Starbucks kiosk at the grocery store. I've seen their menu and their display case. If I'm going to go into a store such as that, I prefer the locally owned non-chain shops located here.
People that are generous themselves, people that are loved by many, people that help others often, people that are -- in effect -- like bordwithyou, get gifts quite often.
We get free water bottles all the time as giveaways/marketing ploys. I love it! We can never have enough b/c they either got lost or the kids chew the tops on them so much that they don't close properly. I have two that are MINE MINE MINE and I refuse to let them drink out of them so they don't ruin the tops!
I also know that some groups get bulk GCs (one of my previous PTAs did this; they'd buy -- or have donated -- 20-30 $20 GCs to Panera or Starbucks or some such) so that they have something on hand when they want to give an extra "thank you" to a volunteer.
