I just found out my insurance plan would pay for me to be treated by a Christian Science facility. The plan even includes the words "Mother Church" and everything.
I was only speaking of daycare and yes, I spoke to the teachers every morning and every evening. I was in the daycare for 10 yrs. so I came to know almost everyone.
More red herring. Nobody said anything about not reporting "taxable income." The question was whether occasional low-value gifts from organizations where you volunteer constitute taxable income or not. We are talking things like candles, scented lotions, a mug, a calendar, something like that. My accountant says "not," and so, apparently, does the IRS.
As far as accepting gifts from churches, temples, the destitute, students, whatever, I am afraid I don't share your conclusion.

That's not what I asked....I asked if this youth group and church occured during lunchtime, not if the request occured during lunchtime.
