I read the link that crusadergal posted about how he and his wife saw a mansion and willed themselves to live on one some way. Isn't that the cause of many of the financial problems today. People thinking they deserve things just because want them.
Well since the show I watch is only 1 half hour each week, I can't comment on how he preaches at his church. I will be going to see him next month though so I can let you know then if and how the bible is brought up.
Thanks and good night (had a looooonng day with the kids and just stopped so I am ready to crash) :)

Doesn't he also consider himself the pastor of a church?

What exactly is the difference between your examples, which I'm assuming you say is not a cult or cult like and what you believe to be a cult?

I agree that a minister can be very motivating. I find attending church very uplifting and motivating.
But the basis of those sermons are the Bible. If the Bible is left out then it is not a motivating church service it is just a motivational speech.
To be both one has to use the Bible as the basis of his sermons, to not do so one can be a motivational speaker but not not a motivational minister.

Reading the description in Amazon.com I have not interest in it.
Are you coming down to TX or will he be in your area?
Yes, that's very much the cause of the current economic crisis.
It's also very amusing that the very thing claimed to be cultish in Washington State is admirable in Texas.
