One parent allows child to dye hair a non-natural color...blue, green, pink, purple, etc. without prior permission from or consultation with the OP.

What do you think? What would you do, if anything?

One more thing...does it matter if the parent is CP or NCP?

I can see being upset over not being consulted.

If the child is in highschool, I'd say the CP trumps the NCP on this one...

So long as nothing was against dress code.

>> I think this is one of those parenting decisions that all should be on the same page for, such as getting ears pierced, when to allow makeup, dating, etc. <<

How often does that happen? Even in intact families parents differ on this and struggle to reach a decision together.

IMO, BM doesn't get to "say" when DH allows DSDs to start wearing make-up or dating. DH makes the rules for his house, and she makes them for hers. It would be NICE if they both agreed, but if not, oh well.
