I suspect that the BMs looking to reduce/keep dad's time down are to a large extent, in the following situations:



1.

A Stepparent is as much a parent as an ex-wife is a wife.

I think a parent whose financial support of their minor child is conditional on, well, ANYTHING, is a gigantic POS and the kid is better off without them.



I would say the same think about any parent who denies the other parent their time with the children. POS and the kids would be better off without that parent.
