Response from another board.

Ok so I went to another board and posted a CS discussion.

This is a response I got about a CP SAHP not working to provide financially towards the kids:

You're not serious are you? If the CP choses not to work I answered the question already. The NCP goes to court and says "your honor I am paying my part and CP is not doing their part to support our kids so I want custody.

LMAO.

I assume the debate question is implied?

No, I don't agree with the response you got.

Why is your focus always on a residential parent providing financially and it enforced?

i'm thinking 'inadequate housing' as cold, dingy, leaking, infested, unsafe, filth/hoarder, actually homeless, and the like.

no, not mom in welfare housing (unless its truly 'inadequate') or kids sharing a bedroom or hand-me-down furniture.

'financially suffering' to me would mean regularly going hungry, unable to afford anything other than inadequate housing.
