CP and NCP have joint custody with CP having Primary Placement during the school year and NCP having Primary Placement from one week after school ends until one week before school begins.

i would explain it to the coach, as many families are divorced and are in the same situation as you are in, the coaches tend to understand more, it is only ONE week.

talk to the coaches, have ex call the coaches, ALOT of people go out of town on spring break, what do they expect if the family decided they were going on vacation? practice being manadtory on holidays (esp regarding grades) is perposterous.

So, you are saying that if the child is in a sport, that they can not take ANY family vacations? None what so ever, except in summer? That any child on the team can not have a father that lives out of town and can not visit their father for a week? I find this rather preposterous. How can this be good for ANY child that has a father out of town? is this sport TRYING to deminish the bond between parent and child? I REALLY am having a hard time believing that this is in fact
Also, at least one child has a game during spring break.

i know that if they miss a practice BEFORE game day that game he sits but not ALL future games. and ESP not for grades over holiday.

so its not really a grade? ok, i see... so there is no REAL danger to the childs grades, and the child can still participate in future games... just no the one right after missing practice....
Formally, they will sit out of the next game, but realistically, they will lose their position as a captain and a starter, and most of their playing time, if not all, for the rest of the season.
The other child would be dropped from the spring program totally for missing.
