Being that any vaccine has the potential to cause an adverse reaction, be it mild to severe, I felt for my family, the safer option was to stop giving consent for the shots.

My two oldest had already gotten all the required shots for school, (which consisted of about 21 vaccines vs the 51 !!!! they are giving these days, and that's not including the HPV!

I stopped all vaccines in 1999, which meant my then 4 yr old did not get the round normally given prior to school entry, my then 7.5 month old didn't get any beyond the round typically given at 6 mos, he got 3 rounds and no more, and my 5th child born in 2002, who turns 6 in Sept, is not vaccinated at all.

It depends on your state law.

There is no ill effect to be expected, except that your child will become susceptible to some diseases that s/he could be protected from with vaccines. Discuss this issue with your real life doctor and don't believe the horror stories about vaccines on some internet sites...

Lord knows the AE's are SO well reported... What was that - less than 90% reported?

We stopped at 18 months and are not giving anymore.

There is no harm in delaying for now and doing more research to become comfortable with your decision (either way).

Also join the non-vaccine support board for more information.
