I don't remember the story at all. I'd really never heard of this. I've been reading up on the poeple mentioned in the entry all morning. I find it really, really disturbing that there's even a small amount of people with this mindset.
Agreed!! I've heard of people who believe HIV/AIDS is a government creation to rid the country of minorities (equally a radical an idea as denying it's existence or progression at all) but I never knew there was such a thing as AIDS denialism -- even worse that they are successfully spreading their false information.
Yes, AIDS denialism is an extremely disturbing topic.
I remember this belief being spread like wildfire in the early 90s. The sad thing is that I remember hearing it in high school. Can't think of a worse group of people than high schoolers to believe something like aids isn't real.
