My question here is, even though the "experts" are pushing the vaccination - would a vaccination for the flu protect them from what's killing them, which is the staph infection? Or, is this just another ploy in scaring parents into getting the shot for their children?

My daughter had a staph infection like that a few years ago under her arm and all down the right side of her body.

Poor baby! Are they sure it's not MRSA? How long has he been treated? (Even MRSA's are treatable, by the way--you just need a combination of drugs. It's only when they get into the bloodstream and begin affecting internal organs that they get dangerous.)

They said it wasn't MRSA "just" staph.
