Anyone see The Doctors today. I haven't watched it in ages but when I saw they would have Jenny McCarthy on (regardless of your opinion on her) I tivo'd it. I thought TRavis went a wee bit emotional and overboard.... although I don't know how much was encouraged. The editing was worse than usual...you could tell they chopped it up like and onion in the editing studio. Jenny had very little to say, (I wonder how much the editing made sure of it).

I did like the fact that Generation Rescue stated that only two vaccines and one toxin have ever been vindicated as a causation of autism (though I still take issue with that).

Yeah...what about the other 30 + vaccines and the countless other toxins?????

Dangit! I wanted to watch that today! Totally forgot! I'll bet it would have made me mad though. That show is usually very pro-pharm, especially Travis. Hmmm, I'll bet I can find it online somewhere. The editing of those shows where they could actually have good and productive conversations is really crappy.

Saw it. It's unfortunate we didn't get to see all of what happened in the studio. I bet there would have been a lot more information and "things that make you go hmmm?" about vaccines.

I was very impressed with the Dr that co-wrote the latest book with Jenny. Might have to go out and buy it.

I also didn't know about the 2 vaccines/1 toxin thing. I find that EXTREMELY interesting!

I've got it recorded...my heart's racing just thinking about watching it! I know I'll be mad, but I think I'll go watch it now! I'm a little drowsy from getting up early this morning...that will certainly wake me up! I saw previews and things got HEATED! I am honestly surprised that they aired it...knowing who the guests were!

Halfway through, a doctor (anti-vax doctor) asked the tv doctors how many of the vaccines were studied in regards to autism. The man's point was that VERY FEW were studied. He said something like "I'm so tired of doctors who don't read the studies stand up here and tell parents that studies have proven that vaccines are safe..." Oh my gosh...Dr. Travis (tv doctor who works in an ER) goes OFF. I thought the man was gonna cry! He starts whining bout being attacked - nobody attacked him! It was stated that doctors LIKE HIM do not read the studies (which is a pointblank FACT) and he suddenly turns it into a big dramatic thing all the while whining that he's being attacked!

Why can't these MD's just stick to the facts instead of trying to turn it around and change the subject? I mean, good grief - do they just think these doctors up and decide one day to get out of bed and pick a doctor to "antagonize" - does he really think that's the whole purpose of people who are convinced that vaccines do cause autism???

He said "all you're doing is antagonizing the medical community who's just trying to help these kids..."

Well what the he1l does he think the antivax crowd is doing? Would it make sense for these people to just go around and spend their lives trying to "antagonize" the MDs?

Oh well, when you cannot defend the lies because you've not done the research then I guess changing the subject is all you CAN DO! Whining and accusing the man of trying to "antagonize" him was all he's left with!!!
