if eggs are so allergenic .. and your 6 - 12 mo baby has not tried eating eggs .. how do you know a flu vaccine is safe for a 6-12 month old baby??

ITA!! Which is why we opted out of the Hep B vax. Not even 1 single risk factor.

The nurses @ our ped's office push for it .. the ped is willing to go with what we want (thankfully!!) :)

What I have found over the years of reading boards like this one - is that many parents have no idea that their baby will be vaccinated in the hospital.

I guess they do this because non-suspecting parents will just say "yes" when confronted by hospital staff just doing the *routine vaccinating*. It should be illegal not to forewarn parents so they will have an opportunity to learn about what causes Hep B in the first place.
