I'm sure you've already covered this one, but I am wondering how many of you would allow your daughters to have this vaccine. We refused this for our daughter after our pediatrician said he would not give it to his own child.

My concern is that there are some legislators who want to make it mandatory for school attendance. In my state, a parent can refuse vaccines on religious grounds or if the child has a health condition that makes vaccination dangerous. None of those apply to us, unfortunately.

If your state has similar regulations, how do you get around it for the vaccines you don't want your child to have?

I have refused this vaccine, and there was an attempt to mandate it - but it was squashed.

I have refused it (I'm 25 so still eligible-lucky me, HA!)

I would not allow my kids to get it. IMO it is nothing more than a money making scheme based on a scare tactic. Getting regular paps is all you need to prevent or catch cancer early. Not worth the risk of the vaccine.

My DDs aren't old enough for it, but they won't get it when they are.

No way I'd get it, or allow my daughter to.

My daughter, if she was of age, would not get this vaccine. I am concerned about the VAERS reporting around cases of GBS. Not too mention some of the deaths that have been reported by the media.
