Hep B through blood transfusion?

I'm trying to make a decision about delaying the Hep B vac. I understand that babies are not at risk of catching the disease, but what if they had to get a blood transfusion?

Thanks in advance,

Sarah

Donated blood is tested for Hep B and C. My son had open heart surgery at the age of 6 weeks and received several pints of blood. His surgery took place before he was old enough to be vaccinated. Due to the testing in advance, I don't believe there is much risk to getting Hep B via blood transfusion.
