Does anyone have a copy of the June, 1992, Volume 18. No 6 piece from the Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal?

Sorry Jamie - I don't and just tried doing all sorts of searches to see if I could locate it and I came up empty.

Just for fun i searched five different databases (from the University of Arizona Main library website, in case you wanted to know where/how... its more effective than google.) Ebsco (generally the most useful database) did not recover it nor did any others. Then i reaized why. That article was never in that journal. it was in their news letter, which, incidently, is not peer reviewed.

Then please post the newsletter so that I can research the bibliography, that is what I want anyway.

I believe this one began archiving after 1996.

I dont mean to discredit it by saying its not peer edited because it might very well have good points (regarding antibiotics...) however if you are writing for a publication which is not peer reviewed it is not necessary to provide a bibliography. Not to mention if they did the reasearch themselves there wouldnt be one, they would be the primary source. But think of it like your church newsletter, they dont provide a bibliography, not even when they are talking about bible studies they are offering (in a scholarly paper if you are promoting a work like a study you'd cite it).

So my point is you likely will never find a copy of the newsletter and if there is a biblography for it, i'd eat my hat. The archives are for the journal itself not its newsletter which would have been sent out to its contributors.
