Tired could not watch it because I guess the video is restricted to people living in the US and I am in Canada.

And after all the comments I would have loved to watch it!

You really need to watch it to appreciate the antagonistic tone from most. This was absolutely nothing to do with science. I'm not exactly for sure what one could really call it....

If you remember the whole valley-girl era...picture one of the most uneducated valley-girl types trying to sell you on vaccines without using a single word with over 5/6 characters... I mean the lady did everything but use the phrase "I'm so suuuuuuuuure". She even tilts her head as she talks down to you...but of course some folks may not realize they are being talked down-to. I'm just glad they didn't use blond's...we've got a bad enough rap already!

I'm absolutely convinced that each generation produces less educated adults. It would not surprise me if the 20 something's of today see that video as "educational". Gosh, what IS the future of this country and where will the future scientists come from? Not from American public school systems that's for sure!

I'm learning more by attending my child's homeschool Science classes than I ever learned in public school. Heck, in my school we barely even covered the most basic *basics* in Science or History. Now its even worse! Personally I feel it's what you're left with when you take all the truth out of Science and History but since God got kicked out of school, what do you expect???

My thoughts exactly...you're just a little nicer about voicing it :).

If I were NBC I would be ashamed of that piece. The survey had the gumption to ask if watching the video changed your mind...are the American parents really THAT stupid??? Because the video didn't include a single fact and they could have at LEAST backed up the lies with more lies and called them facts...I mean that's what the medical profession does every single day but no - they did not even attempt to use even untrue facts...

If your kid goes to public school, don't let me offend you but I can't help but wonder if in the past, the schools have produced a generation of fools that think that video is at all educational then what does that say about education in this country???

The video won't play on my computer, probably because of the firewalls at my office.

Oh my gosh...when she said -

"I'm sure that makes you feel *much* better about bringing your baby in for his or her shots."

I had to play it two more times! My husband wanted to know why I was LMAO!!!

Man, that's pitiful...maybe I'm just tired but I just found that funny as hell!
