Insurance Companies and vaccines etc...

Can an insurace company deny your children coverage if you delay or refuse vaccines? A friend of my MIL's daughter had a baby last week and the Ped told her that she has to have her children given certain vaccines to be covered.
Is that legal if it is true?
Thanks

BTW~ How ARE you doing? Haven't seen much of you lately- little ones keeping you busy, I'll bet. But it's a nice busy, isn't it?

Thank you. I posted the question at a couple different places and I got a reply that a Mom in IL had never heard anyone say that. She has state insurance and they don't even care that they don't vaccinate. They aren't allowed to prosecute for medical neglect in IL so she can't see how an insurance co would get away with that.
If you find something else please let me know.
I'm doing real good, just very busy these days! And yes, a good busy. Maria is nursing great and the last 3 nights has slept 8 and 9 hours!!! I can't believe it! Ashton was up 2 & 3 times MINIMUM per night until he was 2.
I have been lurking most every day, just can't post often because of time.
I hope you are well. :o)
