This has a few video's to watch too. I sure wished Jon or Locke or our newest one-hit-wonder would show up and talk about this. I would really love to hear the other side of this one!

I've not looked at pictures to compare, but I have found myself looking at them now... I tried to take his perspective with an open mind, but truth be told, I'm very skeptical of him for a number of reasons. His theories are certainly plausible, to deny the possibility is unscientific.

'Skeptics' don't agree with anyone who doesn't support current vaccine protocols, so I'm not surprised they consider him to be nutters. I'm also not surprised that certain members of our population have allergic / anaphylactic response to substances contained in vaccines. Neither should anyone else be. Did I just digress? Reactions are rare. They don't happen. Parents aren't witnessing what they think they are witnessing. Much better to suffer a lifelong debilitating reaction to a vaccine for a disease that poses little or no threat to the population of the antiseptic 21st century than to actually catch the disease, because you'll certainly die. And we owe it all to vaccines that the diseases are practically nonexistent. How dare I adjust for confounders.

Some days I'm less tolerant - must be in my genes... maybe I'm part of the population that contains that useless gene also found among autistics? Lots easier to continue contributing truckloads of money to endlessly map the human genome and pretend we understand their role in the biological mechanisms surrounding neurological disorders I guess.

Jamie I was hoping to get your input below, on the post about cow vaccines. I felt certain you would :)

Back to ischemia. Have you ever looked at pictures of your oldest kids before and after vaccines to see if you see that sagging of the corner of the lip, or the misalignment of the eyes?

I've been looking at pictures of Brayden before age 2, since he was completely unvaccinated at that time, and then right after vaccines. I do see it! The first time I was so heartbroken when I saw it! Then I tried to convince myself that it was all in my head so I started showing pictures to other people, asking them to tell me if they saw anything (without fully describing it) and they confirmed it. It still makes me want to cry even though he seems perfectly okay except for the allergies. The allergies are just about under control, I can't wait for spring this year. I just know I'll see a huge difference in his sneezing and misery.

But yea, the more I read about his work, the more I'm convinced that vaccines do cause brain damage. Sometimes it's noticeable and sometimes it's not but I believe its still there. Plus, I know I would have been diagnosed with ADD if I had been born just ten/fifteen years later. Even in my old age, I'm always trying to focus on several things at a time. 'Not very good at it either!

"The skeptic consensus is that he's nutters."

Many brilliant people are "nutters", lol.

This isn't specific to ischemia, but rather his claims of stroke. The skeptic consensus is that he's nutters.

I've read counters to his position on ScienceBlogs. It started with the usual crankery attacks, for having all those initials after his name and whatnot... and did address his position on strokes also. Orac, I believe.
