How do you rank the reliability of information?
People who misrepresent the risk of vaccination, particularly in comparison to the disease, are not conspiracy theorists.
I don't do groups! I do use the package inserts as my sources...I guess that's not science though, huh?
Happy Thanksgiving to you too - and everyone else as well! I've gotta go now, but I'll return eventually.
That is true until they reveal themselves to be so by claiming that there is a coordinated effort by "science", the media, Big Pharma or the government to conceal the truth.
"It was discovered that, among other things, the AMA had hired ghost writers to contribute negative publicity to newspapers, magazines and books, which would impact the ability of chiropractors to remain solvent."
And they're still doing it, only chiropractors are more a threat now then ever before because of the anti-vaccine stance that more and more seem to be taking these days...
Know your sources!
What a truly awesome piece, it says it all. "Conspiracy", its a word used to distract from reality. It's a word, nothing more. Meanwhile children are dying, parents, brothers, sisters...I need to post about the 30 dead in Canada. I know it was just a coincidence, but since this forum IS about vaccines, death after vaccine should CERTAINLY be discussed. We all know we won't hear it from the US media.
"In 1988, a program was created, the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) for the express purpose of compensating vaccine-related injury or death claims for covered vaccines administered on or after October 1, 1988. The Trust Fund is funded by a $0.75 excise tax on each dose of vaccine purchased."
Every time I read about the VICP I start to consider all those parents of SIDS babies who were not told about VICP because, after all, death within hours of vaccine(s) is completely different than SIDS.
FYI - just read this, this morning.
If I were a scientist or doctor in today's world, I would be ashamed. Heck, I'm not a scientist or doctor and I'm still ashamed...for all of them!
Thankfully, there are those who think outside the box and stand up for truth. There's just too few of them. It makes me sad that my kids are growing up in, and will be living in, such an extremely corrupt world.
Personally, I think this just underscores the overall problem. I believe there are many good people who are in both professions that are good in general. The problem as I see it, is if you're going off of work that you think is legitimate, it's understandable to see how the system is currently set up, how you can have everyone believe something else, when it's tainted from the very beginning (or from the top source where they get information from).
I don't neccessarily believe that it means that individuals in their position are bad - just in some cases (and who knows how many, and in what all areas), the data is.
"He is a conspiracist of the highest order."
Isn't everyone Jon? Including the idiot who kept telling everyone that the world is round...who conspired with him Jon?
BTW, this Ken person that you know so well - he doesn't WRITE anything so I wouldn't know if he is or is not a " conspiracist".
His entire blog is made up of video's NOT created or produced by him. Just guessing, but I am willing to bet that it just might be a little difficult to get all these folks together to create all those conspiring video's - especially considering that quite a few of the people shown in his video's died while he was just a small child, or before he was born! Tell me Jon, did he start those conspiracies before he learned to crawl? And where in the world did he get all that technology way back when?
A LOT of those video's are nothing more than news footage once shown on national television during different era's.
The vaccine video's that you consider to be "conspiracist" are no different. A mom, showing her baby and toddler looking INTO the camera, smiling and communicating. Then the camera switches to that same baby as a preschooler - no language, no eye contact, no smiles. The mom tells that same story about how the changes took place after vaccinations. There's no conspiracy.
No conspiracy at all. You can dismiss it as anecdotal ALL YOU WANT (as if using the word "anecdotal" makes any difference at all)...but it's no damn conspiracy! Just a whole hell of a lot of IDENTICAL stories!
The video's shown there are produced by various people. That point alone makes you look like the conspiracy theorist - not him!
Dana, Dana, Dana.
"To claim the mantle of Galileo, you must not simply be persecuted, you must also be right."
I just like typing that under your name.
I won't delve into McCarthy's history of motivation.
