DId they know they had measles? That is disgusting to me if the parents knew this and brought them anyways. We have had several measles outbreaks in our areas all from kids who are NOT vaccinated. THese diseases will come back as more and more parents are refusing to vax their kids. It is very scary to me.

"Would you be concerned then if the almost dead diseases came back in full force?"

Do you have a crystal ball? (just kidding) Do you have any proof that this would happen? Do Scientist say this will happen? No, Scientist are smart enough to see that the decline of disease was happening before vaccines were used.

Let me ask the pro-vaccine people a question - Are there disease in existence that we do not vaccinate for? Have you studied those disease? Ever wonder how in the world they got to be non-existent when a vaccine for them was never created? Do you see a lot of plagues where you live? How did they die out? We never used a vaccine against those either...

"would it concern you if kids started to die from these diseases that could've been prevented or toned down from the vaccinations that everyone decided to stop using???"

Most of the older people in your life got these disease and lived to tell about it. Why would you suggest that these disease are deadly? Billions of people walking around today had those disease way before technology in the medical world began to advance. Why would you suggest that these are deadly diseases? They are not. ANOTHER issue may arise after a child gets one of these disease and that could possibly lead to death but the disease itself does not kill a healthy child, they are childhood diseases - human children got these disease for as long as we can look back into history!

What "scares" me is what will happen to all these vaccinated children once their chicken pox vaccine wanes and they catch the chicken pox when they are exposed to the disease and at that time, they are no longer children getting a childhood disease but now are ADULTS getting a *childhood disease* that CAN be deadly to the adult.

Don't you think that if people were worried over this then there would be all kinds of posts on this board proving the fear mongering? Please consider that since you or no one else can prove that disease would come and kill us all if we stopped vacccinating then please do not share in the fear mongering! (said in a nice way)

What would happen if the most of the country decided that vaccinations are too dangerous and the Majority stopped vaccinations altogether.

*** I'm not sure anyone knows.

Some interesting information wrt measles prior to mass vaccination,

http://insidevaccines.com/wordpress/?p=65

"Before 1963, approximately 500,000 cases and 500 deaths were reported annually, with epidemic cycles every 2–3 years. However, the actual number of cases was estimated at 3–4 million annually. More than 50% of persons had measles by age 6, and more than 90% had measles by age 15. The highest incidence was among 5–9-year-olds, who generally accounted for more than 50% of reported cases."

Important to note that the actual number of cases is usually much higher than the number of reported cases, and that would be true with almost
