Do you want everything “meningococcal” that InsideVaccines has?
CDC’s Pink Book meningococcal chapter
Manufacturer’s Inserts and efficacy statements:Menactra- Efficacy was inferred from Menomune. From a study involving 72 children, Menomune demonstrates an efficacy of: (As measured by bacterial antibody)
So from those two posts it is important to note that the vaccine has NOT been studied properly.
There was no study done ever comparing it to an inert placebo as required by basic principles of drug and vaccine safety. The only safety trials compared Menactra to another vaccine Menomune.
Also when Menactra is given with the HPV vaccine according to VAERS reports their appears to be an increase in the risk of having GBS as a side-effect. See: http://www.nvic.org/Diseases/HPV/D.Morse_in_PDF_2%5b1%5d.pdf
