Well I guess even iVillage has standards.
CL's can not revoke anyone's membership in iVillage. Cl's also don't have the power to remove posts. Only CM's have that authority.
This is the first time I have logged into this board in a few weeks actually so I had no idea that you had even been banned Jon. Sorry to hear it.
I suggest you take it up with Community Moderator's as I was not responsible for you loosing your account.
You're good - and quite generous.
1) Vaccines, while not perfect, are safer than the disease
***If we had a mandatory reporting system, I believe this statement would be easier to substantiate.****
2) Vaccination is a cheap, effective and trumps more complex approaches to public health (hygiene versus vaccine)
***How long do you honestly think this approach is going to work without addressing root circumstances? (I'm assuming you're talking about the undeveloped countries)***
3) The science overwhelmingly supports vaccine efficacy and safety and when there are doubts, it is self correcting
***I'm sorry Jon, did I miss the post about the safety with the current vaccination schedule? If so, can you please re-direct me to where it is that I missed it?****
"Doesn't matter, as who really knows whether the names are real."
Rands is a nickname.
Bi-polar or PMS?
The pharmaceutical companies make a pill for that.
"I will restate my position for the hundredth time, you have NEVER stated your position."
Oh yes she has. You appear to be the only one confused about it Jon.
"It appears online in a respected forum."
Are we still talking about SBM???
Be fair. SBM is only respected by you and a handful of others. You know that. And I'm sure there was a time when you could respect the Lancet? Well now maybe you can again...since they retracted and all. That ONE ever so controversial piece...and now you can trust them once again...This will be interesting to watch!
We have made it clear. SBM is a joke, their followers are just like them...
SBM ignores the fact that the myelin sheath is NOT fully developed until 20 months. They defend the practice of shooting up newborns on day 1 and/or 2 of their births and continue to do so on a schedule that has NEVER BEEN PROVEN SAFE in ANY study! We have NO studies on the cumulative effects of the un be leivable vaccine schedule.
Mostly, SBM ignores the obvious changes in our environment through-out history. And they ignore the impact THAT has had on the spread of disease.
HOW *SCIENTIFIC* OF THEM!
That question was "why should an infant be vaccinated at birth for Hep B".
I'll answer it.
No infant! Should EVER be vaccinated with a Hep B shot unless their BIRTH-MOTHER HAS HEP B.
