Parents, Older Siblings May Be Transmitt

Young infants in the UK continue to come down with pertussis, which is often severe and unrecognized, despite adequate vaccination coverage beginning at 2 months of age, according to a report in the September Archives of Diseases of Childhood.
Dr. Natasha Crowcroft and colleagues from the Health Protection Agency in London believe that parents and their older siblings may be transmitting the infection to their younger siblings.
