Which is why I said EITHER uninformed or there's a double standard. I'm not going to assume that every prolifer that vaccinates is uninformed because I doubt that's the case.

And, speaking of MMR and other vaccines - just what might this case be in the court of law?

Just flying through because I love reading this board but the topic of double standard triggered something I remembered reading. A true double standard in at least the Catholic church (obviously pro life) does exist.

I'm always thoroughly amused with how the catholic church will turn and twist anything to suit their needs at the moment! Back pedalling and hypocrisy prevail!!! Love it. lol

I'm guessing that unless a parent is Catholic or has otherwise done research on the topic - most probably don't realize that human tissue is used. I did plenty of research but somehow I missed it when I first got started (about 10 years ago). I don't remember reading any documents regarding how they were made but I did spend a lot of time reading about the other ingredients and the multitude of ailments they were thought to cause.

I agree. I hadn't heard of it until recently. It's not the reason that I don't vaccinate and I hadn't come across it in my light research. I often don't do heavy research. I come here and know there are really smart parent's like you and minorityview and criticalthinker that are gonna supply me with tons of data! For me it's much more a common sense issue than something I need to spend tons and tons of my limited time researching. I do research to back up my beliefs when talking to people about my choices. Surprising how many people won't just us common sense! lol. My hubby does like to get stuff from naturalnews.com, even things that aren't about vaccines.
