I know that many provax like to dismiss the antivax crowd as "conspiracy theorists". Have any of them stopped to wonder why these beliefs are formed or do they simply imagine delusional schizophrenics on the other side of the computer screen? In any case, here's a nice timeline of documented medical experiments, some of which were even publicly apologized for.(seems Clinton had to do a lot of the apologies)

http://www.naturalnews.com/022383.html

Some key notes are the instances in which the patient or parent was not given full information before procedure or vaccine. Also the disturbing new as of recent that there are states invoking "gunpoint medicine" and forcing people to get vaccines with threats of jail and fines. Karl Marx would be proud.

Well, we have again, those that spoke out against tobacco companies were called conspiracy theorists, and told there was no proof to their claim.

And the same can be stated wrt DDT and headlice for children (also at one time FDA approved) - now banned by the U.S.

I'm pretty sure that's what used to be in mosquito repellent.

I'm not sure about DDT in mosquito repellent .. but I know they used DEET, which you could get something like 100% at one point in time .. until they realized it would destroy your liver .. now you can only get something like 30% DEET in your repellent .. either way, toxic and bad for the water supply.

This is my first time back on the board since having Elijah ... and I just wanted to comment back, Robin ..

I admit to imaging delusional schizos who had no real clue the risks being posed to their children by refusing vaccines .. after talking with you ladies, I realize you're actually pretty well-informed and not all of your skepticism over vaccines is unfounded. :) ... though you still haven't converted me, yet! :)

I knew you were one who didn't think we were crazies! I must have gotten ddt confused with deet. I knew there was something like that they took out of mosquito spray.

Welcome back Melissa! Elijah is ADORABLE!!! Congrats again! Hope all is going well for you.

Mind if I ask if you did the Hep B shot?
