So, I there is a "virus" going around my kids' schools right now. My friend/neighbor's kids both are vomiting, fevers (102+)etc. Very flu like symptoms. I suggested she have her kids swabbed so she knows if it's H1N1 or not. "Oh nooooo," says the ped; "they don't appear flu like to me at all."
And they in essence refused to swab the kids. The conspiracist in me thinks by refusing to swab these kids, when the vaccine (eventually) becomes available they will push it on these poor kids that obviously had some sort of flu like virus, but no proof it was H1N1! Thus, shots all 'round....and not the good kind that comes with jello;)
My oldest has been coughing a bit the last few days, the minute it look flu like, off to get swabbed he goes. Then we will know he is done and fully antibodied.
