What's up with the pro-vaxers?

Why is it that you'll see pro-vaxers pop up on the Non vaccine support board but you won't see them come over here??? The few that do come here don't seem to stay long. I guess I can understand that. For one, they are clearly in the minority. But if enough of them came over here, we could have some interesting discussions. I'm not speaking of the discussions where certain pro-vaxers, who shall remain nameless, like to point fingers and judge us as bad/unfit parents for not vaxxing. I'm talking some real back and forth, open-minded discussion. Is this not possible?

That's because we don't want to deal with your stupid pseudoscience.

(Wow. Your devil dude scared me for a minute. I thought, what person is this that has decided to speak all of a sudden.)

Not everyone can feel that way. I once too just assumed vaccines were totally safe and wonderful and necessary. Someone suggested to me to look into them first and I did. That's when I genuinely started becoming concerned for the health of my baby.

It wasn't the internet that got me thinking as I didn't even know where to look.

The first book I read was: The Vaccine Guide Risks and Benefits for Children and Adults by Randall Neustaedter Md
Next: Vaccination 100 Years of Orthodox Research shows that Vaccines Represent a Medical Assault on the Immune System by Viera Scheibner Ph.D.

Other books and the internet since then. Plus, many discussions with my sil, the pediatrician, which still did not convince me that vaccines are totally safe.

Someone recently said in an article online regarding the current measles "pandemic," you have to put your faith in your doctor. And there you have the problem. I can't do that. Medicine/science/pharma cos are not my God and not worthy of my faith. God is my God and worthy of my faith.

Pro-vaxers are guilty of the same thing. So what's your point?

..........She's a quack who got the bent spoon award for her pseudoscience.

You can choose to dismiss her if you'd like - that's certainly your right. Just as I dismiss much if not all of what the CDC, FDA, and AAP say.

True. That's probably what's wrong with them.

I visit both boards, I don't get involved in debates because I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone, its just not in me to debate with someone about it.
