Thanks I am hoping they will be good friends, but we will have to see.

I dont really have a designated safe room, but most of my small apt is childproofed. My ds is pretty good about playing by himself, but I know that most get clingy when mommy has the baby.

My mom is taking off the 8 weekdays after my c-section. My 1 SIL lives 15 min away & has kids in school full time. My other SIL lives 30 min away & her daughter is a brat. She would be more of a hinderance thsn a help.

I dont have any freezer meals done. We usually make quick meals that take less then 30 min to make.

Congratulations on your upcoming birth! 2 Boys!! How wonderful - I am sure that they will be the BEST of friends! :)

You know, my two are 19 months apart and I have to confess those first few weeks were a little challenging. Do you have a "safe" room in your house? Somewhere you can put your older son down and let him play without getting into trouble? If so, consider moving a comfortable chair into that room so that you and baby can sit while your older son plays.

I also agree with PP that you should take as much advantage of family and friends as possible. Sounds like your Mom is going to help you out, but do you have playdates that you can schedule for your DS?
