I had a c section 5 years ago. My baby boy was 8.24 lbs and was born at 41.5 weeks. After being induced TWICE (two days apart) my dr broke my water and I got to 6 cm.

You are so right. I have now really read up on C section. I now understand why I had the first one and feel comfortable scheduling the second. I guess I am just one of those people who need to research to be comfortable with my decision. My 2 big concerns were pain post surgery and ability to have a third child. I am the only person in my entire family to have c sections so I had no one to ask. Gotta love the Internet and I also found the book The Essential C-Section Guide: Pain Control, Healing at Home, Getting Your Body Back, and Everything Else You Need to Know About a Cesarean Birth by Maureen Connolly to be super helpful. I am 5 3" with a small frame and my husband is 6 3" so I always wondered if I would be able to vaginally deliver a baby of his. I also have a much better support system of friends this time to help. So I guess I will pray and trust that I am making

I've had 3 c-sections all about the same.
