Bleeding in 4th week after c section?

Hello,

I had my first c section and second baby 4 weeks ago. Last sunday my bleeding stopped (after turning brown and yellow and white). So I started resuming my normal activities, including trying to dress up older DS and going up and down the stairs couple of times. Younger DS was very fussy last 4 nights and had to pick him up for almost 3 hours and walk.

I noticed fresh red blodd clot on Thursday.. More clots friday and still more on saturday (bleeding is increasing), however this is not

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I still am bleeding.. Not much but llittle little.. Sometimes it is brown and sometimes when I go up and down the stairs, it is red. I am very worried, I called the doc and they said it is OK to have bleeding till 6th week. But I am worried. What if it continues after 6 weeks. would they have to repoen the incision?

Hi! I just had my 4th C section in November and experienced a similar pattern to what you describe. Bleeding stopped all together and then came back in GUSHES. It actually concerned me because with my first three I was

Take it easy. The bleeding will subside again if you take it easy and rest. I bled for 8 weeks after my first c/s because I didn't understand that I was just doing too much activity.
