You know, I haven't BTDT but, I think that the recovery time for a section with a tubal is about the same as a regular c-section - perhaps someone who has

Wow, i just found this board and am on here looking for answers to the same question! I had my second section on 10/07 and a tubal. today is day 9 and i am still in pain and with my first i was really doing ok and not even taking pain meds within a few days post section and with this one i am really still struggling and i am suspecting it is the tubal causing the extra pain. really looking forward to hearing what others say . . .

Good luck to you!

Hi Ladies,

I had two C-Sections. My first was emergency for fetal distress, the second was planned.

I had a c-section and a tubal on September 5th. The recovery time was the same as my first c-section, it seemed. I did have some "different" pain in the first two weeks - as the tubal was healing, but I was still off all pain meds within one week.

Hello, I had my C-Section + Tubal done in Jan.2008. I had the C-Section and Tubal on a Monday around 4:30pm. The nurses came in the next morning around 7:00am removed my IV and the cathidor and I started on pain med's and gas med's.. They say they can not give you anything for pain for 12 hours after surgery.. I left hospital to go home on Wednesday morning. I came home and yes I took some of my pain med's but not much.
