This is kind of an embarassing question, but it's now 11 months since my C-section and I've noticed a big change in my bowel habits.

You know, I never really paid much attention, or at least thought about it being related to c-section until you mentioned it.

I noticed a big difference in my bowels and my bladder. When I let me OB know about my concerns she told me not to worry. She said that when they did my csection that all my guts and stuff were put in a bag on top of me and things were moved out of the way to get my baby out. She was breech and stuck up under my rib area so she was a toughy to get out. My bowels and bladder finally have gotten back to normal and it has been 22 months. For the longest time I would hardly pee and was probably drinking twice as much and constipated or diarrhea. I also can not eat foods that were my favorites before the pregnancy. So many changes occur while you are pregnant and nothing seems to be the same after. I can no longer tolerate Mexican food or Italian. Anything spicy. Just hang in there. have you thought about taking some extra fiber to help regulate your body? Defintely ask the doctor. Rule out anything else. I have heard of IBS occuring in some people that have surgery so ask.

Trish :)
