Hi! I agree with the other girls. If I do have another one, I'll probably choose a section over vbac. My section was scheduled, but my little chunker was breech. My doctor also checks right before the surgery to see if they are still breech. Had she not been, the surgery would have been canceled.

(((HUGS))) I'm sorry things aren't going quite the way you have planned, but when your health or the baby's health is at risk, then you have to do what is safest. You have no reason at all to feel bad for choosing a c-section, and when you have it planned out, you have the best chance of things going smoothly and better all around than if you get into an emergency situation.

I pray your baby will surprise you and come before then and maybe you will still get that vbac you were hoping for, but if not, then I pray that this will be the best c-section birthing experience you can get!!

Please come back and let us know how it went!! Will be thinking of you!!

Choosing to have a c-section because you don't have time to have your baby on a certain day is bad. Choosing to have a c-section because of health concerns is not bad. As much as I hated having one and as much as I dream of having a vbac next time, I would rather go in knowing that I'm having a c-section instead of being hit with the news in the middle of labor. You know what to expect and what you need to do to prepare and you know that the end is in sight for all this discomfort you've been in. I read your post on the other board and it sounds to me like this is what you need to do, both for your physical health and your emotional health.
