I surf here occasionally only because it helps to talk with other women who are having cesarean births or have had them.

this is a support board. Some members just have a odd way of offering support.

Hi,

This is a support board.

  Event.observe($('fullSizedImage'), 'load', function(event) { pageTags.addTagListToImg('fullSizedImage', ); });

Good point for others, but since I know the exact moment of conception (I'm an IVF Mom), there is no gray area as far as dates.

If I wanted to scare you, I would post something very different.

Carrie - Congratulations on your miricle baby and good luck with your upcoming c section! I have been here since 2006 and there have been periods of time when I have seen very hateful, unsupportive posts. However, I haven't seen that recently. This is a support board.

With that said, I do think it's important that people understand the risks and "consideration points" around having a c section. There are things that I have learned here and through my journey that I think people should know or be able to consider and talk about with thier doctor which is part of what this community is about. For example, I always want first time Moms to know that C sections

Good luck on your csection and congratulations on your little miracle :)

I have noticed it myself. I'm not sure why these people are hanging around except that perhaps they feel the need to discourage others from what they feel was a bad experience for them? I won't say my first 2 csections were cake walks. They were emergencies and I was totally unprepared. Being prepared is the absolute best way to ensure you get the birth experience you want from a csection. There are people who have vaginal deliveries and have horrible experiences every day so it isn't just limited to one type of delivery.

That's definitely true about people with vaginal births having problems too.

I'm not saying one way or another who has more problems.

My point is, my sister had the worst hemorrhoids ever. (They wanted to do surgery)

One of her other friends had a 4th degree tear. She tored from her urethra to her anus.

She chose to have a c-section next time. It was months before she could poop and pee correctly.

Again, I'm not saying that
