C/S Post Partum Question

I had a scheduled c-section almost 6 weeks ago. I've lost most of my pregnancy weight but there's this weird flap of skin right above my incision that won't flatten out. It runs the length of the incision and basically looks like a fold of flab. Does anyone else have this? I guess my real question is: Will it go away??

I hate to say this, but it might not. The scar created for me an abnormal little pooch above it that will never smooth out.

Maybe I'll get a tummy tuck someday :)

Mine did go away. Not that my tummy got flat again, but it didn't pooch. In fact, I had what I thought looked an abnormally FLAT tummy-RIGHT at the incision, and then below was my post-preg flab. LOL.

I wouldn't worry too much. It's only been six weeks and with any surgery there can be swelling for an extended period of time. It could take several months for it to go away. It's great that you've already lost the weight you gained during pregnancy. As soon as you can, go back to your normal exercise routine and I bet it'll go away. If it's still there 6 months to a year from now, you can start thinking about tummy tucks. I had the same flap for around 6 months myself, then didn't notice it at all.
