Probably not a fun issue to discuss, but I just wonder how many have developed IBS (irratable bowel syndrome) since having their c-section?  I read artricles saying that it is a common side effect from having abdominal surgery because of things getting moved around.  Just being pregnant can also cause it as well since things get squished, moved, and kicked around!

I have it since my cholecystectomy in 1997. No big changes after the c-sections. It sucks, yes.

I had it to some degree after my first baby, but it wasn't too bad.  However, I have noticed a significant increase after my c-section.  I didn't realize there was possibly a correlation until someone else said it, and then I researched it some and saw it really could be a side effect from both pregnancy and abdominal surgery.

It is horrible!  I have to plan shopping trips by knowing which store has the most accessible restroom.  So embarrassing!

At this time, I am not on any medication for it, but I may need to start something soon.  Still waiting for Charleigh to stop nursing before I start any new medications though.

Honestly, I'd almost rather just deal with the condition then get an endoscopy to diagnose what Zi already know.
