When do most doctors clear you to start doing ab exercises after a C/S?

I agree - I think it's supposed to be 6 weeks, but really if you're not feeling sore, your bleeding has stopped and you take it easy then I think you can start when you're ready. (I'm not feeling ready yet...

Mine said I could do Kegals but to wait until the 6 week for anyhting more vigorous than walking because it can stress the incision. My incision is barely noticible and in the hair line so I don't want to do anything to make it more pronounced. I am doing alot of walking though
