Hello just a brief story about me I lost my baby girl in October 08 and got prego again in Feb. I'm now 5 months (20 weeks) pregnant with another baby girl and I'm so sore! Starting about an inch above my c-cection scar down is sore. Feels more like menstrual cramps deep inside. I could see maybe feeling this way about 8 months but not at only 5 months. I'm so scared of uterine rupture or something like that. Been this way for about a week and dr said to just wear a pregnancy belt (which is an aweful contraption). I can deal with the discomfort but very worried that this may be something wrong. Anyone else feel

Thanks for the advice! I'm not sore anymore, my dr thinks it could have also been the chair I was using at work too. So I"m not wearing anything right now to hold my belly. This one place did have some more silky like belts that weren't too bad. The halter top is a great idea! I have a bella band which is pretty similar to a halter top so I might try that!

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my first DD at 7.5 months -- and was pregnant with my second 4.5 months after she was born. I didn't have any problems and, in fact, attempted a VBAC with my 2nd. I didn't have any of those feelings that you described, though. I would tell you that others have reported that there is significant stretching of the scar tissue internally which can cause discomfort -- if I were you, I'd trust you gut... and push your doctor a bit if you really think something is wrong.

HTH - Wishing you a H&H remainder of your PG!!!

I am so sorry about the loss of your baby. I lost my little boy in March.

I have had pregnancies 5 and six months post c-sections and never had any serious problems. I did find that I had cramping and soreness, though, even for the pregnancies that were 13 months most cesarean. So I think what you are feeling is likely normal.

Rupture is very rare, I don't think you really have to worry about that. But I understand your fear of another loss.
