Hi and welcome on expecting another bundle of joy!

On your first question, based upon my tenure here there have been differences between hospitals and doctors. I do not wear contacts or glasses so I don't have first hand experience, but I have friends who have worn their glasses and others have posted here who have said that contacts weren't a problem. I certainly think that they will let you wear your glasses (at least!) but this is a great question for your doctor at your next appointment.

On your second question, I think you should be fine to sit for a couple of hours. Everyone recovers different and those first couple of weeks are difficult, but if you were up and walking about that is much different than sitting. The one thing I'd worry about is swelling in your feet. Mine seems to still be around 10 days PP. Maybe you can get a comfy chair where you can put your feet up?

Please feel free to jump in and ask any questions that you might have and please let us know how everything goes! :)
