Hi!

I tried to respond, but it must have gotten deleted. Anyways, I am trying to send you this link that will be very informative!http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-ppjun03n/message.asp?webtag=iv-ppjun03n&msg=15988.6

See if this works. If not, go to the June 2003 club and go to questions and concerns. You are going to need to click under more to bring up some past posts. There is one titled "calling a c section experts". Flip through those until you come accross the one from sporkthcat. She begins talking about going in for her third section on the 17th. It will let you know all there is to know! I hope this helps!

Hi there ;-) I had a cs with my first and although I think I was one of the lucky ones....I really had a very easy recovery ;-) After about the first 24 hours I felt next to normal. Try not to worry too much, that'll only make it worse. Just plan to have some extra help at home for a week or two and don't over-do it....keep up on your pain meds and you'll do great! Big hugs and best wishes to you and your family! Melisa

OK sweetie, breathe. I've had two C-sections, the spinal doesn't hurt AT ALL, in fact, I hear it's better than an epidural, because it doesn't stay in your spine. After that, it's smooth sailing, the surgery is strange, but not painful. You ARE SORE for a few days but nothing intolerable, you are too busy looking at your new little miracle to notice too much. My advice to you, don't worry so much about the pain, and once it's over, TAKE IT EASY!! They mean it when they tell you to do so...otherwise you could prolong your recovery. I'd have one more in a heartbeat, and I'd HAVE to have a C-section.

Hope that helps
