Hi! When did U get the OK to workout?

Hi ladies. I'm recovering from an emergency C-Section with ds on 30 March 2010... I had a great labor - but ended up with a pre-mature urge to push at 7cm - and after 3hrs of trying to quell that urge my cervix began to close & thicken - even though labor continued to get stronger.
the C-Section wasn't what I wanted but it was necessary and I knew all the risks and had the full support of my birth team through my transfer to the hospital (I was trying for a home birth - since my dd's birth ended in a transfer to the hospital & a vaginal delivery after 51hrs)
I've had a pretty uneventful recovery - @ 3wks pp my mw gave me the all clear to begin walking and doing ab work - which I've been doing every other day.
I'm 6wks now and very ready to begin my *normal* work out routine - at least somewhat modified, b/c I know I'm not ready to hit the ground full throttle (I train for triathlons, and do P90x as my cross-training work)
on average when did you guys get the ok to begin real workouts...even if it was modified? I'm ready to go but I don't want to push my MW too hard to give me the ok if its not safe...
