I plan to call my OB later today, but wondered about your experiences. This is my 2nd c/s. I didn't have this happen the first time. Dh checked for me and there is no blood and the fluid is clear and I have no fever.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I think that happened after my 1st c/s (or was it my 2nd?) Anyway, in my case they said it wasn't a big deal--no odor, no fever, no blood. . .it was just wear the dr had tied off. But I'm glad you are calling just in case.

Clear fluid is normal. It may even look a little pink. Any yellow/green, cloudy, non-clear type fluid should definitley be reported. Also call if there is an odor, if you ahave a fever, or of your incision is very red and warm to the touch.
