I totally think you are prepared and I can't think of anything else that I would do if I were you...

In terms of your questions, can you have the baby's basinette and your bed height arranged so that you don't have to bend over? I never really had the issue that you were talking about because it was very easy to lift my babies based upon the angle.

Also, I think you're 100% right to keep your kids in their normal routine. Kids thrive on having a regular schedule and I think my DS would have been better for staying in his normal schedule when our DD was born. As it was, he was really stressed b/c he knew that things were different and we had a lot of meltdowns. Of course your kids are older, but I still think that they will do well in a normal schedule.

G/L with everything!! Maybe someone else will have some good ideas for you!

Wow, you are super prepared! I wish I had been half as prepared as that.

As for the lifting problem, I think that depends on the hospital. I had to call the nurse everytime I needed the baby or she needed a diaper change if no one was there with me, but I had a ton of people during the day, and I didnt have baby during the night. They brought her in for feedings during the night and i had her from 5am until bedtime again, but really, I just wanted to cuddle her. I didnt want to put her donw, so I didnt.

That was the first day, the second day I got out of bed, the

Uhoh after reading your post I realize I am really really unprepared......guess what I am going to be doing this weekend!!!

As far as your girls go, I would try to keep things as normal as possible for them, although I am sure they will be so excited to meet the new addition, they will be squirming in school :)
